教学内容：Part A Let’s say & Let’s chant
教学目标：
1、语言目标：能听懂、会说、会认读PRC、CAN、UK、USA几个国家名称的缩写，以及能听、说China、Canada、the United Kingdom、America.
2、技能目标：能联系句型Where are you from? / I’m from China,进行对话，通过角色扮演，能熟练运用上述句型。另外，能较熟练地朗诵Let’s chant中的歌词。
3、情感目标：通过了解不同的国家，重点是国家名称，培养学生热爱中国、热爱世界，喜欢交流的美好情感。
4、文化目标：进一步巩固几个主要英语国家的国旗、名称以及其名称缩写，并对这几个国家的文化有适当的了解。
教学重难点：教学重点一是对几个主演英语国家的名称缩写的听、说、认读；二是句型“I’m from……”
教学难点包括教学重点一以及 “the United kingdom”的听说。
教学准备：1、CAI、磁带、录音机
2、准备John、chen jie、Sarah、Mike 的头饰。
3、各国的小国旗各一面。
教学步骤：
Step1 Warm—up
1、 Let’s sing a song “Old Macdonald”.
T: Where are the ducks?
Ss: They’re on the farm.(教师引导)
T: Where is the farmer from?
S1:Maybe he is from China.
S2: Maybe he is from America.
T: Maybe. And where are you from?
S3: I’m from China.
2、 Listen and answer.
教师播放Unit1 Part B Let’s talk.的录音。
学生先听再回答问题。
T: Where is Amy from?
S1: She is from America.

1、Learn to say PRC

(在教师叫了几个学生做了动作之后，戴Amy的头饰与一学生进行对话)
T—S2: Hello, are you ZhangQin?
S2: Yes!
T:I’m Amy, I’m from USA.

①课件呈现加拿大的国旗

②教师介绍有关加拿大的有关历史，学生欣赏加拿大的风光。
CAI出示。1，2，
③教师呈现加拿大小女孩的图片。
T: Who’ s he？
Ss: He’s Mike。
T: Where’s he from?
Ss: He’s from Canada.
T: 对学生的回答表示肯定。
④教师先出示单词“Canada”，再变成“CAN”
T引导学生用CAN来回答。

教师指着USA 三个字母，引导学生认读。

4、Learn to say UK

如果学生知道就让学生大胆地说，如果学生回答不上来，教师就告诉学生（维尼）
T：It’s Winne Pooh.
T: Ok, now say Hello to Winne Pooh.
鼓励学生积极发言。
T：Where is Winne from? Can you guess?
学生积极开动脑筋，猜Winne 来自哪里。
教师鼓励学生用今天所学的国家的名称缩写来猜。
the United Kingdom
T：Look, where is it from?
如有学生知道就让学生回答，（图片链接1）（图片链接2）
如果学生不能回答，教师就教读“the United Kingdom”(注意分音节教读，有节奏地进行)
T：You are so clever!
And PRC is for China, CAN is for Canada, USA is for America, How about this one? Can you guess?
教师提醒学生注意看课件上的文字，特别要注意到红颜色的字母，这样大部分的学生都能回答上来了。
Ss：UK。
T：Ok，now where is Kitty from?
Ss：It’s from UK.

教师鼓励学生进行认读，给那些大胆积极又准确的学生发些小奖品，同时介绍有关英国的名胜，如伦敦桥，大本钟等
